A Prayer for the Healing of Our Nation
 

"We pray, Lord, for a healing of our country
That is torn with such disarray.
Raise up men and women, Lord,
Of great courage, wisdom and understanding
Who will help repair
The torn fabric of our nation.
This we pray. Amen."

A prayer originally composed as a Mass Intention written prior to the national election in early November 2020. It seems more appropriate these days with the January 2021 turmoil at the U.S. Capitol Building.
